Whenever I head back to to the main memorialsloankettering building, I am reminded of the heartbreak my family went through there. Going back with my Aunt & best friend to donate blood a second time was a special moment. If you can handle donating blood, it is a great way to help cancer patients. Chemo and surgeries often leave patients needing transfusions or blood bags. My mom benefited from generous donors so giving back in this way is important to me.
