LET’S TALK BOOBS! ***As with many things in life, I never anticipated this would be my story...and I hope that sharing it helps someone else.*** • Two weeks ago I underwent my third breast surgery in less than a year. Here’s my story: After breastfeeding my girls for more than 13 months, I was left depleted and deflated in the boob department. There were multiple wardrobe malfunctions resulting in flyaway boobs and peek-a-boo nipples that I can (now!) look back on and laugh but left me mortified at the time 🙈 Since then, I always wanted to get a lift, but couldn’t justify taking the time off from work since my job is so physical. Last year because of Covid and back injury rehab, I had a break from teaching and scheduled surgery. My surgeon didn’t think I had enough breast tissue and said I would need augmentation as well. While I wish I would have listened to my intuition, (that this wasn’t the right choice for my body) I trusted that recommendation and had surgery in May of 2020....
