Over the past 31 days I got to know more about Beaver Men’s Soccer captain Gael Gibert.  After hearing about his moving story, my biggest worry was not being able to express the hardships, tears, and passion that has come with his past. In order to illustrate this story, we had to step outside of each other’s comfort zone. This meant having the ability to be vulnerable and transparent around each other. With the most respect, we would clash schedules, ideas, and emotions but it was through these actions, that we were able to take a step in each other’s shoes. And I felt that once we crossed that line of discomfort, we finally able to work together to tell his story the way he wanted it told. Got to give credit where it’s due!
