Another round of congratulations to our friends at mensrugbyclubsru; the other three already got a shout out so we'll give the forwards some love on this one! 🟩⬛ . _leifheckaman robbie.dailey are both dynamic in the loose and tremendous work horses, earning them both All Conference honors. 🟩⬛ . The backs are cool, but what's cooler is Coach Matt Heasley earning Small College Coach of the Year, two years in a row. mattheasley12 played rugby at Slippery Rock and went on to have a successful playing career with OMBAC over on the West coast. Since taking over at SRU, he has elevated the team to be consistently ranked in the top 20 and finishing at 8th in the nation this year. Coach Matt initiated his tenure with a large preseason practice at Founders Field, and now 10 rugby players from the Rock have participated in our U23 program.
