College creates bonds that last a lifetime! #repost drsetitoff ・・・ My mom is celebrating 51 years of college friendships with her “crab brother and sisters (HBCU band thing)” from the Mississippi Valley State University, Delta Devil Marching Band. Fifty-one years ago, they were freshmen in the band. They were from Florida, Mobile, Batesville, Mississippi, etc. Tonight, a few of them gathered at my parents home to laugh and talk about their collegiate years. I stayed as long as I could to listen to their high school and college stories as well as growing up and going to college in the segregated south. I am always humble and bow when I am around my elders.
