The call of Blanchard’s cricket frogs, one of our state’s smallest and most abundant frogs, can be heard across much of Oklahoma during the summer. If their clacking marble sound doesn’t stick in your ears, you can look for an upside-down triangle on the top of the head to help identify this widespread frog.
