If you want to have a fully developed chest, then you need need to be hitting it from all angles, multiple times per week.

If you are trying to put emphasis on growing your chest then you need to hit it frequently with a low volume, I would recommend training the chest a minimum of twice a week and up to 3 times.

Take the volume and intensity that you apply to "chest Mondays" and split it down into 2 or 3 sessions.

This will provide you with the same volume and load, a lower intensity but more frequency, which is essential to creating an environment in which our body is forced to adapt which in this case is our muscles being forced to grow to cope with the frequent stimulation.
