Happy Loving Day! On May 31, 2014 I married the love of my life. June 12, 1967 the U.S. Supreme Court struck down laws that banned interracial marriage. That was only 53 years ago. 53 years ago it would have been a crime punishable by law to be married to you. A lot of our parents were growing up during that time. We have come a long way but we still have a LONG way to go in the fight against racial injustice. “And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity ‭‭Colossians‬ ‭3:14‬ ‭NIV ‬. “Learn to do right; seek justice. Defend the oppressed. Take up the cause of the fatherless; plead the case of the widow.” ‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭1:17‬ ‭NIV‬‬ #lovingday #blacklivesmatter
