I stand with Ethan Bear, all Indigenous people and for anybody who has been discriminated agaisnt for whatever reason. My father always tells me " we all breath the same air and we all bleed red. Never judge a person by anything else but their character. Get to know a person and never pass judgement on them as it is not your place to do so." In Barriere Lake we are often subject to racist remarks and stereotypes. We are taught not to fight hate with hate and to keep our heads high and lead by example. Its important to remember that there is always a younger generation looking up to us. I know these racist remarks and stereotypes only represent a portion of the population.
