Men’s Club Championship at Liberty Hill Three long days of grinding it out was what it took for Buddy Hansen to capture his 3rd Union League Club Championship. The 2020 and 2021 National Club Champion, ran into defending champion Chris Thude in the 36-hole finale on Sunday. A back-and-forth battle featured swings of 3 and 4 hole leads to both sides before the two stepped onto the 36th tee all tied up. Family, friends and fellow members watched on as Hansen closed out Thude on the 18th green.
