I was at Bodie Island Lighthouse about 1.5 hours before sunset, I noticed the clouds had that look like if they shifted to the north and opened up that horizon there might be something special. So I packed up and headed for highway 12 to see if I could get up on the sand dunes. Well there isn’t an easy way to get through the thick brush but I did finally find a section I could get through.
