It’s crazy how quickly the ocean will bury something so big. When I first saw this ship it was just off shore like someone had parked it there to go get some lunch, I would recommend Awful Arthur’s if you’re in the Outer Banks, but this ship wasn’t parked there. It had engine issues and sadly got caught in the tricky sandbars of the Oregon Inlet where it stilll is today. Only now it’s covered in sand. The owners are still trying to recover the ship last I heard, seems like the sea is winning the battle though. If you go there please respect that the ship is someone’s property.
