When I left my house this morning at 5 it was 50 degrees and clear. My one worry was wondering if there would be any clouds up on Grandfather Mtn. The plan went out the window when I got to Blowing Rock where it was snowing so I kept driving past my original planned spot Julian Price Lake and hoped I’d get up somewhere in and get some kind of Sunrise.
