The Beach is going to the Championship!!!! Last night the boys took down the #1 seed SDSU 6-5 in the first round of the WCHC playoffs!! It was a hard fought battle last night as the Beach had a 5-3 lead going into the 3rd and had to fight off the #1 seeded Aztecs!! The Beach got goals from #15 Francis Lemay, #22 Luke Miller, 2 shorthanded goals from #8 Kody Ichinaga, and 2 goals from #13 Matt Dove which earned him beach player of the game!! #30 Adam Moroz got the win in net giving him 9 wins on the season and his first career playoff win!
