I’ve appreciated the check-ins asking if I’ve been ok. I tried to not respond and even tried being as vague as possible. But the check-ins keep coming my way and I’m appreciative of the love on so many levels. Well, here I am. I’ve been here. I had to undergo surgery to remove a ruptured disc in my spine caused by a slip and fall while trying to stop a malfunction. I won’t be myself for a lil bit, but with enough PT I’ll be able to get back to doing what I love…brewing. This will be another journey of mine that will be challenging, but I’ve been reminded how I am no stranger to challenge. I’ve got this. I’ll still be here. The OHWF will still go on. I will be as present as possible. Just no heavy lifting for a while.
