I was hired in July of 2019 by OH’s Head Brewer. This Head Brewer doesn’t go out much. Doesn’t socialize like the rest of us and very much enjoys keeping to himself. But if you all only knew how much he’s done for our team and the company. His sensory skills are unlike anything I’ve ever seen. He can sniff anything that doesn’t belong in a beer and no matter what unpredictable chaos happens in our world of brewing, he just has an answer. He knows how to schedule it, save it, brew it, change it. He just knows. Nothing gets past him. He’s held the Head Brewer title the longest here. He’s led our team through a pandemic, four Pastry Towns, two Green City’s, Citra Week, three Snow Birds Day’s, Mosaic Week, three hop selections with Sam, and the list goes on.
