My growth in this industry is based upon how much I’m willing to advocate for myself. Being hands on is something I take pride in. It’s the best way I can retain information. It’s my way of learning. Ben has had a big hand in building otherhalfnyc from the ground up. Literally. From fermenters to brew houses to tap systems to bars, to tables, benches, chairs, stages, and the list goes on. He’s built it. Ben came in today to install some key pieces for our mill. Ben came in on a Sunday. For us. So, in return I wanted to come in as well to learn his way of problem solving and understand the way his team works. I wanted to learn #thegrangerway in order to better my skills as a Brewer and pester Ben with all of the questions I could muster in a 6hr period. Wouldn’t you? Today was fun. Today was helpful.
