In all honesty I was nervous and very shy when I first arrived in Asheville to meet with the owners of burialbeer My first invite from a brewery where I get to represent OH alongside Sam, no big deal. Right? Jess and I had spoken a few times prior to prepare for our Off Topic discussion which I was asked to attend three weeks ago. I could tell she and I were both nervous. We didn’t know what would happen. Would they listen? Would they understand? It was interesting. I could feel her weight and she could feel mine. Someone who I’ve never met before became someone I related with on multiple levels. As the discussion kicked off and we looked out into the crowd we began to open up. We began to breathe. Our shoulders dropped and with the support of Sam, Doug, Tim, and Chris we fucking rocked it. A huge thanks to the Burial family for the hospitality and the invite. And as always, very appreciative of otherhalfnyc for the opportunity to take part in such an unforgettable experience.🙋🏽‍...
