Full behind the scenes/time lapse of my blackpumas “Colors” claymation. Thanks again to drmbear for helping this happen. Shot at 15fps in dragonframe.software , made with Trail Mix clay from georgiesceramic and animated over the course of 5 days. I started with the head first and then worked from there. Had to shoot the transition in and out (with the head) at the same time which was tricky. A lot of the shapes and movements of the clay were improvised to the music in real time. I had a basic concept, but wanted to keep it loose in case I had new ideas. I LOVE playing with this much clay. So fun.
