How does one achieve a smooth and efficient running stride?
It all starts from the core. When I say core I mean
🎶 SHAKIRA SHAKIRA🎶
That’s right, the hips.
The hips don’t lie.
Hip flexors are one of the most important muscles in our body. They maintain the mobility, stability, and strength of other muscles.
When hips are weak, stress is placed on the knees and can lead to pain and injury. It can also cause other muscles to compensate the work resulting in a multitude of muscle strains.
Strong and balanced hips will improve biomechanics and improve efficiency which leads to better performance.
