I’ve shared less of my work in the past year than ever before, and whether it be due to forgetfulness or a mental roadblock, the floodgates were opened this weekend. I took time to retreat to the wilderness, where healing always comes quick, and where peace and forgiveness is always waiting. There is such a dichotomy in our country right now, between the beauty witnessed in nature and the violence occurring just a couple hours to the east. The words are coming easier now, and many thoughts will follow this one. In the meantime, I encourage all who need restoration and a reminder of what we’re fighting for, to return to nature, only if for a moment, and even if it’s a few miles outside the city.
