Cape Elizabeth lighthouse, a quick stop as the sun set. This was my first time visiting Maine, an eventful trip to say the least. I came away from this experience with the feeling that it was an important chapter in my life, and though the places we visited and sights we saw were not wildly significant, there was an element of reflection in all of them. The peace this place radiated was heavy, and I walked away with the name “Acadia” forever ingrained in my memory. So much so, that I decided to give that name to my home on wheels. It’s not something I’ve really shared or made public, and honestly it’s not a big deal, just a nickname for a vehicle.
