An observation; As a generation we tend to abide by a pretty drastic momentum. Going from fully inspired by burned out within the span of a few weeks or days. I’m guilty of following this pattern; attempting to display a fully productive version of myself all the time, and though most of the time that is the case, there are times for rest and retreat. I’m not sure if it’s a bragging method to always appear busy or have a filled schedule, but it’s unrealistic to portray ourselves that way all the time. It creates mountains and valleys out of our goals, turning a gentle wave of achievement into a destructive tsunami that can either make or break us. So just a reminder to myself and others; if you’re on a break from being busy, don’t be afraid to share that. If you’re creatively lost, don’t keep it to yourself.
