The past week was a waking nightmare for women and a very real illustration to how regressed our political system has become. I can’t contribute any new information that hasn’t already been shared, but I’m here to at least offer links to sites where you can donate and educate yourself on the issue if you haven’t already. My place and voice is only here to support those who are under attack from power-hungry malicious forces, and though my identity is that of those oppressors, my only intention is to use what platform I have to aid and support those who face these issues of basic human rights. We cannot go back in time. We cannot return to the dark ages of horrific systemic beliefs. Something to keep in mind through this and future battles, is that this administration holds a habit of creating “smoke and mirrors” policies such as the one in order to cover up other dark deeds, so stay vigilant during and after this issue is worked out, and remain an ally to all oppressed groups.
