Tomorrow is Epiphany, and to me it means Galette des Rois or King’s tart, a dessert made especially on this day. You will find this dessert in every “boulangerie” in January. Traditionally, you hide a bean or “fève” inside the tart, and whoever gets it on the slice get to be the king or queen of the day. You can see the fève on my video. For me, is mostly a memory from the time that I spent in France, and it’s a delicious dessert made out of puff pastry and frangipane or almond filling.
