The Women’s National Basketball Players Association (WNBPA) is proud to announce that it has partnered with Everytown for Gun Safety, the largest gun violence prevention organization in America, for the fourth consecutive year. The objective of the partnership is for players to add their powerful and passionate voices to raise awareness, expose the gun lobby and fight for public safety measures that will protect communities from gun violence.
This year, t__cloud9 (Washington Mystics), brittbundlez (Los Angeles Sparks), and retired player mspeters14 participated in educational sessions to help inform players across the league and will lead the players’ work on this initiative alongside Everytown.
