Celebrated annually in August, Black Philanthropy Month was created in 2011 by Dr. Jackie Bouvier Copeland and the Pan-African Women’s
#Philanthropy Network as an annual global celebration of African-descent giving.
Did you know that across all CCT programs, over 85% participants self-identify as Black/African-American?
Beginning on Thursday, 8/1,
#BPM2024CLT will encourage and promote community-wide participation by:
● Amplifying stories of Charlotte’s Black-led and Black-benefitting nonprofits
● Engaging community members and nonprofit leaders with a variety of virtual events to heighten awareness and make connections
