We welcomed anchorhopewine to our crew earlier this year, heralding their kegged wine for its environmental benefits, freshness, and efficiency. Since then, the world’s changed a bit and James and Marissa, A&H's founders, quickly (and quite impressively) pivoted to canning their wines sooner than they'd intended. Earlier this week, ellen_bhang from bostonglobe featured Nico & Laura, A&H's line of canned wines, in an article highlighting the convenience of canned wine and how A&H's approach to packaging the wine is gentler on the environment. ABOUT NICO & LAURA⠀
The brand is named after A&H's partner farmers, Nico & Laura Espenschied, who farm the grapes for these wines on their sustainable vineyards in Flohnheim, Germany. Grown in Rheinhessen Valley along the famous Rhein river, wines are shipped straight from Germany, then aged and packaged in Rumford, RI. Each can contains 8.4 ounces of wine (that's ~a glass and a half).⠀
