How to stop tech companies from stealing your art. Today we’re fighting fire with fire and using technology to prevent AI from training their models using our art. This one is a bit heady, so bear with me here: The idea is that the tool makes small changes to your image to “trick” the AI into thinking it’s something that it isn’t. But a key part of this is that you still SAY it’s a river and tag the metadata as a river. This all created via open source by a team at the University of Chicago, so tip of the cap to them.
