This is such a huge accomplishment for me. When I first applied to U.M. while I was in high school I was denied. I attended two other schools, took a semester off, changed my major and faced many obstacles before I reapplied and got accepted. Today I received my bachelor’s degree from the University of Miami. I really didn’t know when or how I was ever going to finish. After six years, several meltdowns and hours of forcing my sister & friends to stay on the phone with me during my long drives home from Miami, I finally graduated. I’m incredibly thankful for the support and unconditional love from my family & friends. Thank you to all of my former teachers for equipping me with the skills I needed to earn this degree. To my parents- thank you for wiping all of my tears, for all of the sacrifices you guys made that allowed me to attend this school and for teaching me that my stubbornness is what keeps me from giving up. I love you all so much... almost as much as our win over FSU this...
