Jimmy Buffett taught us not to take ourselves too seriously. When we were kids our parents took us to our first concert, which was to see him. We’ve been to countless shows since. Our father was a travel writer and huge Buffett fan. He taught us so much about travel, hospitality, being on the water and, of course, Buffett. We’ve admired so much of what Jimmy did--we both learned to play guitar and sing, surrounded ourselves with like minded people, gave our customers an escape, and traveled everywhere with a beach, living in the Florida keys, Bahamas, and St. Barths. We “went down to Captain Tony’s” and ate “Cheeseburgers in Paradise” at Le Select. We even brought our vv team with us because it was that important. We went to Paris. We flew in seaplanes. We learned how to fly and how to sail. We’ve fished, chased bonefish, tarpon, and others all around the world. We met up with Jimmy in the Keys, St. Barths and other spots.
