Speedway Screens: Rolex 24. Trying to work on my storytelling. The story of an endurance race is so much more than what happens on track. The on-track stuff is important but I’m trying to focus more on the pits and the paddock, the stuff that people can’t see on the broadcast. The human side of the sport. Working everyday to get better. Daytona was rough. I felt like I was shooting safe and the same old BS I always do. Making the same videos over and over. Looking back at my footage, I think I did alright but still need to focus on a variety when it comes to editing. Stop going back to the same crutches I’m used to like lots of slow motion stuff. I need to challenge myself. If you aren’t moving forward, you’re moving backward. You don’t stay the same.
