#MeetTheExpert: Brittany Banks, PA-C, is a Physician Assistant in the Department of Neurosurgery. Banks splits her time between the clinic and the OR, as well as MRI procedures for both treatment and research. She also works with patients in the movement disorder clinic that have conditions such as Parkinson's, essential tremor, addiction, and pain. Banks says her number one task is working with others in the department to ensure the patient is content with the procedure decision, as well as the outcome of their procedure to overall reduce their symptoms and provide a better quality of life.
