North Carolina freshman running back George Pettaway, out of Nansemond-Suffolk Academy, did not disappoint in his collegiate debut last evening. Pettaway only got 4 carries but made the best of it, grabbing up 51 yards and a touchdown. He delighted North Carolina fans with a 29 yard touchdown run where he juked three Florida A&M Rattlers and then dragged several into the endzone. Pettaway was a 4 🌟 recruit and rated the No. 4 senior in Hampton Roads, was nationally ranked No. 98 by 247Sports, No. 101 by Rivals and No. 106 by ESPN. He ran for over 3,000 yards and 50 touchdowns as a Saint.
