And their song ‘BEST OF YOU’ really resonated with me in a major way. It landed on me in a different tone, and in a different color, and I wanted to express that feeling for you. A couple of years ago I collaborated with Madeline McDonald on a song called ‘Better in the Past’ which I felt my verses from that song, so perfectly aligned with how I was hearing this alternative storyline within ‘BEST OF YOU’.
