Focus on your Lead Knee for power and proper hip rotation! It's time to improve your strike! When you try to get the club to come from the inside, you slide your lower body toward the target, hang your upper body back, and hit it fat. No fun. To stop sliding and improve that strike, you have to focus on the lead knee. From the top of your swing, straighten, and push back your lead knee. That should actually start your downswing! Make a backswing then straighten and push back your lead knee! When you push back that lead knee, the hip works backwards too into rotation, not slide!
