As fitting month rolls on, we have talked a lot about the importance of properly fit equipment when it comes to performance. This includes your grips. The grip is arguably the most important aspect of your golf swing, and the grip you choose greatly affects performance. There are a few key elements in selecting the right grips for you. First is sizing. You want your middle and ring finger to touch the thumb pad without cramming into it. If you find yourself in between sizes, you can choose the smaller size, and use build up tape to fit more accurately.
Next, you have to choose the grip style. Golf Pride has four main styles: Soft, Rubber, Half-Cord, and Full Cord. The Soft grips dampen vibrations and feedback from impact, and have the most tack.
