Owen McDonough was just an upincoming third year student at Indiana University studying broadcasting with a concentration in sports media as he broadcasted the IU men's hockey team and was a big part of their production team broadcasting hockey games for the hockey games and talking about it as a reporter and production assistant. 3 days ago he passed away from the drowning incident at Lake Tahoe in Nevada. he was widely respected amongst his peers at the community and was loved at more than just IU hockey, but also as a family member, a brother, and a broadcaster. broadcasters do not ever give up in this hits on a personal level because not only am I a student at the IU Media School but I also at one time was a sports broadcasting major.
