History was made at the HOKA festivalofmiles this past Thursday! 💥 Some of the fastest high school runners in the USA lit up the track and shattered PRs. Simeon Birnbaum (SimeonBirnbaum) won the boys’ race with a time of 3:57.53, the fourth fastest HS mile in US history. In total, four boys broke the 4:00 barrier, a record in any one race. The fastest high school girls’ time of the day was run by Tatum David (tatumdavid_), who ran a PR of 4:37.79 in the pro women’s race. It was the second fastest time run by a high school girl in the US this year. naz_elite athletes Abby Nichols (abby_nichols131) and Krissy Gear (krissygear13) finished 1-2 in the race running 4:26.08 (meet record!) and 4:26.52 respectively.
