Sherwin-Williams Reimagined
In this logo redesign for Sherwin-Williams, I aimed to distill the essence of the brand into a modern, minimalist design while retaining core elements that speak to the company’s heritage and vision. The reimagined logo breaks down into three distinct parts:
1. The Drop: Positioned on the left, the drop shape symbolizes the paint offerings of Sherwin-Williams. This element is also a nod to the company’s iconic motto, “Cover the Earth,” representing the idea of spreading color and vibrancy across the globe.
2. The Stripes: The two right sections of the ‘W’ are split to resemble the initial strokes of a paintbrush on a wall. These stripes evoke the process of painting, highlighting the transformative power of Sherwin-Williams products in any space.
