Jalal Beauchman
Varsity Football (2020-2023)
In March 2020, Jalal Beauchman, a 2006 bellarminebells alumnus, was hired as the varsity head coach of the Bellarmine Bells football team. Beauchman had been a three-year varsity football letterman with the Bells and was named the 2005 WCAL Receiver of the Year. He went on to earn a Bachelor of Science degree from San Jose State University, where he was also a wide receiver for the Spartans, graduating in 2010 as team captain and ranked third on SJSU’s all-time receptions list.
Under Jalal Beauchman’s leadership, the Bells maintained their hard-nosed identity while modernizing many aspects of their game. A high-energy coach who cared for his players, Beauchman introduced a new spread offense system with the help of offensive line coach Scott Glicksberg.
