Did you know that the girl running emoji was created largely thanks to the persistence of Saucony athlete and Olympian, @mollyhuddle? As an advocate for gender equality in sports, Molly noticed that the existing running emoji only featured a male figure. She believed that girls and women deserved their own representation, so she worked with designers and the Unicode Consortium to create the girl running emoji. Now, female runners everywhere have a symbol that represents them! Thank you, Molly, for being a trailblazer in the running community.
