Our team at SHS is grateful for the $30,000 grant for 2024 support from PetSmart Charities. The help from petsmartcharities is crucial for our organization in giving animals in need their first, second, and sometimes third chances. These funds have enabled us to provide temporary homes, both onsite and through our foster care program, while our team prepares countless animal companions for their forever homes. This preparation includes spay and neuter procedures to prevent overpopulation, vaccines, microchipping, enrichment activities, love, care, medical attention, and nutritious diets. During March and July’s National Adoption Weeks (NAW) combined, we rehomed 107 companion animals, a true #happyTails story. We look forward to NAW coming October 2024.🐾🧡
