🤦🏼‍♂️ Is it necessary to over complicate and make something they find difficult even more difficult? I understand the desire to “get it right” but it sounds like in #northcarolina they want to deal with it once and have it cover anything and everything that could possibly come up now moving forward… When was the last time a board of education achieved that… When was the first time a board of education achieved that… The excuse that they want to make sure NIL doesn’t interfere with a student athlete’s commitments is weak… How about those working part time or full time hours to support the family, what about club sports, what about other drama they deal with, what about anything distracting… Those students aren’t worth “looking out for”? Potentially limiting compensation? Who’s going to make that decision? Better load up on insurance for the lawsuits. Oh yeah, $60 - $120 is normal compensation. We are going to sit on this for the rare occurrence an athlete gets a 6 or 7 figu...
