MEET laurenhudson4. She went through recruitment last year and this is her story. “ I did not have many expectations when going into the recruitment process, and I honestly so glad I did not. All of the meetings with Panhellenic and our Rho Gammas were so incredibly helpful, and they made me feel more prepared going into it, rather than setting up an expectation of exactly how it would be. I was a little bit nervous going into it, but seeing how kind and welcoming Samford’s community was outside of recruitment, I should’ve known that the girls would be that much more intentional and welcoming. Each sorority did an incredible job of making me feel seen, known, and loved without having met many of the girls before. They made what I thought would be a scary process a fun one, where I looked forward to meeting new people, having life-giving conversations, laughing, and walking out of the house feeling better about myself than before I walked through the doors.
