What a week for our alumni rowers at the 2024 Paris Olympic games! Eight ex-cambridgeuniversity and cubcsquad students took to the Parisian waters last week; our congratulations goes out to all athletes, coaches, and their families on some truly incredible results! Medalled (and pictured): 🥇Imogen Grant (Trinity) and partner Emily Craig secured the last ever gold medal in the Lightweight Women’s Double Sculls by almost a length. 🥈Ollie Wynne-Griffith and Tom George (both Peterhouse) won silver in the Men’s Pairs, narrowly missing out on the gold after leading throughout. 🥉Freddie Davidson (Emmanuel) earned bronze in a very competitive Men’s Four. 🥉Harry Fieldman (Homerton) coxes Team GB’s Women’s Eight to the bronze medal.
