DEVILS WIN!!!!!!! Dougie Hamilton ripped one past Igor Shesterkin in the OT session to seal the deal for the #NJDevils – giving them their first victory of the postseason!! Akira Schmid stole the game with a stone cold performance, stopping 35 of 36 (.972 SV%) in his playoff debut!! The Devils’ penalty kill was much better, and they notched a PP Goal for the second straight game as Jack Hughes got them on the board initially. They’ll still need to take less penalties if they want to have a shot to win this series, but there was a ton of improvement overall. The Devils will now have an opportunity to knot up the series Monday night at The Garden!! LGD!! WOOOO!!!! 😈
