DEVILS WIN!!!!! Timo Meier’s game winning goal propelled the #NJDevils to a thrilling 2-1 victory over their rival New York Rangers!! Tonight was the biggest game of the year, and virtually the entire team rose to the occasion. Vitek Vanecek dazzled for his 30th victory of the season, stopping 24 of 25 shots (.960 SV%). Erik Haula got the party started off a beautiful feed from Dougie Hamilton, and Timo’s goal followed a little over 10 minutes later. The Devils failed to clear the zone in the second which led to a Kreider PPG, but they were able to shut the door the rest of the way. What an absolute thriller. If these two teams are going to meet in the playoffs, hockey fans are in for quite the treat. There are now only 7 games remaining, and the Devils have a 4 point lead on NYR in the Metro Division standings. LFGD. WOO!! 😈
