DEVILS WIN!!! The #NJDevils squeaked out a HUGE two points in Montreal tonight for their 43rd victory of the season!! Nathan Bastian and Nico Hischier were the goal scorers in the contest, with Tatar adding an empty netter. While things were a little shaky, Akira Schmid shut the door when needed, stopping 23 of 24 (.958 SV%)! The Habs nearly tied it with their goalie pulled, but rung iron and Tuna hit the empty net to seal it. Sometimes, puck luck is your best friend, and it certainly was this game. Carolina got shut out tonight, meaning a Devils’ victory tomorrow would tie them for first place in the Metro. Exciting stuff here in crunch time…WOO!! LGD!! 😈
