DEVILS WIN IN A SHOOTOUT!!!! Dawson Mercer stayed red-hot, notching a goal and an assist in a thrilling shootout victory!! Timo Meier sealed the deal after Akira Schmid stopped ALL four Capitals shooters in the skills competition. He was very solid, stopping 20 of 22 (.909 SV%). Dawson Mercer’s point streak extended to ELEVEN (!!) games in the contest!! He’s been the #NJDevils best player for a few weeks now. Overall, though it got a little sloppy at times, this group (once again) found a way to pull it out. They have now hit 90 points on the season!! They’ll look to keep the ball rolling in Montreal on Saturday!! WOO!! LGD!! 😈
